Village Hall
Our village hall was originally built in 1922 by the Grant Meek’s family and Lord of the Manor of Manningford Bruce.
The hall was replaced in 2001 by a completely new building with funds raised by the Parish Council and the Lotteries Grant and is available for private hire as well as hosting a number of village events each year.
With a capacity for 100 standing guests or 56 seated it is a suitable size for most occasions.
Facilities include:
Entrance Lobby with double doors.
Large main hall with lots of natural light from windows on three sides fitted with blinds and pretty contemporary curtains, wooden floor, ceiling and acoustic panels Fully fitted kitchen with a modern cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave.
Plentiful matching crockery and cutlery
Large serving hatch from kitchen to main hall
Disabled Access and toilet
3 Further ladies toilets and a gents
Tables with modern wipe clean table cloths and Chairs
Outside Ample Parking and adjacent playing field with children’s play equipment.
Rates:
Occasional Use / Parties £10.00 per hour
Regular Bookings / Clubs £7.50 per hour

Key pick up / return to be arranged with the Hirer
Conditions of Hire:
No change to fabric of the Hall
NO SMOKING
The Hall to be left clean and tidy after use with ALL tables and chairs to be stacked in the Kitchen
ALL floors MUST be swept and mopped after use
Please observe Fire Exits and Fire Extinguishers
Observe all licence and booking restrictions (for full details contact Victoria Marshall on (01672) 569077
Ensure that no nuisance is caused to Local Residents by any actions
Remove all Rubbish to the Outside Bin and take all Recycling home
All Lights and Water Heater to be turned off
All damage beyond fair wear and tear to be paid in full and for the repairs to be carried out professionally
To ensure that during the Hire Period, a responsible individual aged 25 years or over is present and officially in charge

The Village Hall is run as a charity on behalf of all the villagers and a board of trustees made up of local people ensures its correct conduct through the Charities Commission.
Day to day the Village Hall Committee look after everything and meet regularly to plan the years events. New committee members are always welcome and or those just wishing to help out occasionally or with a special interest or talent they would like to share.

Remembrance Service Sun 8th Nov, St Peters Church
Remembrance Day Service on 8th Nov will be held round the War Memorial at St Peters Church, Manningford at 10.45. Robert de Berry will be taking the Service. Due to Covid-19 please confirm if you wish to attend (robingamble1@btinternet.com).

Pilates Monday & Tuesday at village hall
